Carriers simply complete a brief profile to allow your capacity to be visible on the Kleinschmidt Intelligence Network — mostly, this is to ensure that we have the right contact for those wanting to cover lanes. When our predictive engine sees that you're likely to have a truck emptying out where a broker needs one, it puts a spotlight on you — and you receive inquiries from Kleinschmidt-approved brokers and shippers with loads that fit your lanes. Kleinschmidt has been protecting customer data for over 40 years and takes that responsibility seriously. For shippers/brokers entering lane information, that data will be used to identify carriers with a high probability of having the right equipment available in proximity, and your exact origin/destination and other identifying data will not be shared with a carrier until you send them a load tender. If you are a carrier, your prior load information including origin/destination, shipment ID and other identifying data will never be shown. Only shippers/brokers that have a lane for which you have a high probability of capacity available will see you as a potential match, and Capacity IQ makes the introduction. You decide if it's a fit.
Yes. Visibility on the network is opt-in, and you can change your participation at any time by contacting your Kleinschmidt representative.
